Windows 8 & AVG 2012 Firewall.. I have the same problem they need to get this fixed. All Windows 8 APPs that use the internet on the start screen will not have access if AVG 2012 Firewall is enable. I use AVG Internet Business Security 2012. Hopefully they update the program soon or update us to the 2013 edition. At least I can dual boot my computer into Windows 7. This is the reason not to go into the full blown upgrade because you have some software companies are not ready for the new OS yet with all of their products that they still support. For all those out there do not upgrade until AVG gets this fixed if you want to use AVG Software as your Security Provider. Bruce |
